Helping the Children of El Salvador One Cup at a Time

Our venture in El Salvador has a financial cost which in large part is underwritten by the generous giving of our congregation. But we have sought ways to raise money for 2020 Vision projects on an ongoing basis by selling private label coffees roasted for us by Half Moon Bay's own Outland Java.  All beans for our custom blends are sourced entirely from El Salvador and are 100% Arabica, Fair Trade Certified, Shade Grown and Certified Organic.  Currently we are offering three varieties of coffee: Dark Roast, Medium Roast and Decaf in both ground or whole bean.

For each bag of coffee purchased, Mariners receives about $5 for our 2020 account to help pay for travel and supplies expenses incurred with our work in El Salvador. You can purchase coffee at the kiosk in the worship center or through our on-line store at for delivery directly to your door.

Help our kids at Por Gracia, the soccer school and on the island.... Substitute Mariners coffee that you normally buy at your grocery store, Starbucks or Peets!

To purchase, visit our offices during the week or from the kiosk during weekend services.

About our Labels
The labels feature photos of some children from the Por Gracia School which offers schooling and meals for children ages 5 through 9th grade in a poor community near Soyapango, El Salvador.  We participate in a child sponsorship to assist the school in caring for these children and their families.  Click for information.

The decorative border surrounding the photos are photographs of some El Salvadoran art.  Foil is embossed with rural setting designs, painted, and then applied to paper-thin wood like a veneer.  These specific ones were fashioned as bookmarks, but numerous varieties can be found in local souvenir markets.
